Your gateway to the Great Outdoors just got better

Welcome to your new-look WideWorld. True, we only launched in May, and although the feedback from you has been great, we had a few more ideas up our sleeves.

First of all, you'll notice there's more on the homepage. We wanted you to be able to find stories that interested you a lot more easily. We also introduced 'secondary navigation' so you can now find stories by subject such as sport, travel or exploration. Don't forget you can always use the search bar in the top right hand corner of the site if you know exactly what you want.

We also listened to you when you said you wanted comments enabled. You can now let us know exactly what you think of each news story, feature or review. Just click 'comments' next to the picture above each article but don't forget to log in first. Comments are moderated, but we'll only remove stuff that's offensive.

If there are more photos attached to a story, you no longer have to click on the main picture to see the gallery just scroll down to the bottom of the article or click on 'Article gallery' to see more images.

You can now email articles or share them with your social networks at the click of a button. Hover over 'Share article' and you'll see you can add it to MySpace, Facebook, Blogger, Digg, or over 100 other services.

Our Directory of UK outdoor outfitters has just got bigger. It was already the largest directory of its type in the country. Now we've got 14,000 entries. So if you want to go kayaking in Wales, or mountain biking in Kent look no further. What's more, once you've found a company you'd like to use for your trip, click on 'Print' and you'll see a Google map of the location too.

Our 'How to...' articles are all in one convenient place now so if you'd like to get started in a new outdoor endeavour like running marathons or SCUBA diving, head to the....
